This is the link to my wikispace for teachers:

1. Seahorse Counting

Free the seahorses! Count the number of seahorses that mermaid calls out. Click the correct number on the seahorse to set free.

2. Hangman

Play hangman with your words. Guess letters to form words from the lists that are added by people just like you! Practice your classroom lists.

3. Pinball

Vocabulary Pinball ~ Click on the red flipper buttons to keep the ball in play. Try to hit all of the letters with the ball to spell a word. Next, choose the correct definition for the word. A correct answer gives a free ball and an incorrect takes a ball away. Hold down and release the green button to launch the ball! Try all of the lists or register to make your own!

4. Math Tunnel Blaster

(Scroll to the bottom of the screen to choose addition, subtraction, multiplication or division.)

5. Scholastic
These games are entertaining and educational.

6. SmartBoard Activities

7. Freaky Frank’s Music Machine
There are many games on this site ~ some educational; some fun! The educational ones I liked are Counting with Murray the Mouse, Wild Safari Crossword, McPauly’s Farm, The Kitty Quartet, Puzzle Map of the United States, and Pauly’s Piano.

8. The Story Starter
This site gives the first sentence of a story that students write. There is a junior version for younger students.

9. Magnetic Poetry
Students can manipulate words to create magnetic “refrigerator” poetry. The backgrounds can be changed and the poems can be saved.

10. Book Report Sandwich Station

This site guides the student through a mini book report. Students begin by writing their name, the book title, and author name. The student is then encouraged to “Add” parts of the sandwich to their book report. Once the student types all of their information, it can be printed. There is an option at the end to leave room to draw a picture when it is printed.

11. BBC Stories and Rhymes

You can find all of our stories and rhymes by using the categories below, or try our current recommendation. The stories are read with a British accent.

12. Super Hyper Spider Typer

Hungry lizards with words on their backs are after Berry the hairy spider! Save Berry from these colorful, wacky creatures by typing words quickly as they appear on their backs and help her from becoming someone’s lunch!

*Try out some of the other educational games at funschool. Click on the link below:

Race against other players by answering multiplication problems correctly.

14. Sheppard Software
This site offers hundreds of educational games and activities for students of all ages in all subject areas.

15. Chicktionary

This is a barnyard game between you and seven hens. Each hen bears a letter. Use the letters to spell as many words as you can before time runs out. To spell a word, type the letters or click the hens in order, and watch the word appear. (Click on Language Arts, scroll down to Chicktionary) Try out some of the other games on this site, too.
